About 10 years ago I had an idea to create a toaster painting. The first painting resulted in a toaster sitting in a room popping toast out the top. It looked okay, but then I thought what would happen if Toasters grew wild on earth? Toasters living on hills, on mountain sides, across wide wind-swept plains or nestled in remote valleys. Like giant Sequoia trees, the Toasters would dominate the landscape with their electric cords twisting in the winds and toast shooting towards the heavens.
Their purpose in life? Creating toast, of course.

So I started painting my new toaster ideas. The first toaster turned out nice, so I created another and then another and.....well, the shapes, the flying toast and placing toasters in semi-surrealistic-type settings keeps me always creating more paintings.
